When you use a shampoo bar for the first time, your scalp and hair may need some time to get used to it. A shampoo bar often cleans much less aggressively than its liquid – often synthetic – brother. How quickly you get used to a shampoo bar depends on how often you wash your hair. For one person, a shampoo bar works perfectly right away. But on average it takes about 2-4 weeks.
