Origin
Avocado oil is native to Latin America. In fact, here avocados have been used as an ingredient for over 10,000 years. In fact, avocados are an excellent source of potassium, magnesium, folic acid (B11) and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C and E. In addition, it consists largely of monounsaturated fatty acids that are super healthy for your body, skin and hair.
Some sources even say that the Mayans were already aware of the natural powers of this oil and used it for vibrant and healthy hair.
Organic
The unrefined & organic avocado oil we use is produced from rejected avocados from a Kenyan farmer. This way, avocados get a second chance and together with Keyan farmers we work with against waste and towards a circular economy.
Our oil is certified by the Soil Association to the COSMOS standard.
The oil is extracted by a cold pressing process from the pulp. Not from the pit, as many people think. This method leaves even more of the vitamins, minerals and healthy fatty acids originally present intact and present.

Avocado oil for hair
