The coffee ground used for this soap bar comes from a local coffee roaster. The texture of ground coffee beans turns out to be one of the best natural scrubs there is. Exfoliating with ground coffee not only removes dry and dead skin cells, but also stimulates the production of new skin cells. Coffee contains the antioxidant caffeic acid. This substance provides a boost in the production of collagen. Collagen also ensures firm skin. So, a win-win-win situation.
